SHORE EXCURSIONS:
Your 7-Night Western Caribbean cruise will take you to the exotic and exciting ports of calls of Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Grand Cayman! Belize, Mexico is an Adventurer’s Paradise! Mayan temples tower above rainforest canopies while an incredibly colorful array of marine wildlife find protection in Belize's Great Barrier Reef. When you see the majestic expense of Costa Maya, Mexico from aboard your ship, you know that you've arrived in a land of mystery and intrigue. Costa Maya offers an excellent opportunity to delve into the Mayan culture, and to enjoy the rich natural resources of the Mexican Caribbean. Cozumel, Mexico is famous all over the world for its coral reefs; there are plenty of water sports such as diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and more. Grand Cayman, the largest of the Cayman Islands, is safe, relaxing, tranquil and best of all, home to some of the friendliest people in the Caribbean. The diving is still excellent - you'll swear you've taken a plunge into a pet-shop fish tank. The gentle stingrays still cluster at Stingray City. Rum Point, a beach bar on the North Sound, still serves up cinnamony rum punches.
PRE-CRUISE HOTEL STAY:
For a truly enjoyable cruise vacation, I recommend that you plan to arrive into Tampa the evening before your cruise. You will be able to take a shuttle from your hotel to the cruise ship on Saturday morning. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to Ybor City and Channelside, two of Tampa's "hot-spots" for dining, shopping and entertainment. To reserve your hotel room, please contact PTS Travel on or before October 13, 2006.
